This series of three buildings is the second of a three phase development in the City's Fresh Creek Urban Renewal Area. These four to six story structures contain a total of 175 affordable housing units in a variety of configurations from studio to four bedroom apartments, and 25,000 square feet of retail space along the Elton Street Corridor. The buildings are designed in accordance with the New York City Zoning Ordinance for Quality Housing. The buildings are being constructed in accordance with Enterprise Green Communities guidelines and will qualify for NYSERDA energy credits. A series of solar panel arrays to power common use areas will be provided. THIS PROJECT IS THE RECIPIENT OF THE 2015 NYSAFAH PROJECT OF THE YEAR, and the BUILDING BROOKLYN AFFORDABLE PROJECT OF THE YEAR 2016.
