This is the sixth building designed for the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty.  The eight story 78 Unit building was designed for low income elderly in Queens NY.  This structure includes special landscaped area for resident recreation as well as ample interior commons areas for a variety of social and recreational programs.  The structure is masonry bearing wall and concrete plank design. The building is to be built under the auspices of the HUD 202 Program for NOT-for-Profit sponsors, and in concert with the New York City Housing Authority.
